“Perfume The Der Fume” by Kira Bey Wallace (almost 5)

Perfume smells good
Perfume smells sweet
Perfume smells awesome
Perfume smells ka deet
Perfume smells good
Perfume smells sweet
Perfume smells like everything
That you love
You can get
Different shades of perfume
In so many different kinds
In so many different ways
In so many different smells
Perfume is great
I love it
My grandma showed me
All her perfumes with different smells
One smelled like chocolate
She has so many different
Kinds of perfume
One has a very nice bottle
But it’s really expensive
And I love that one
With the beautiful bottle

I think this grandma is going to have to keep her perfume under cover,
especially the one with the ka deet fragrance. It’s particularly intoxicating!
And the chocolate one, don’t even get me started on that!!!

    Kira,
You write beautiful poetry just like your Grandma Roz. I think the bottles of perfume are sometimes nicer the perfume. They are all fun to smell. My favorite one is one that smells like grapefruit.
    Thanks for the poem.
    Karen
