Hi Marcus Elman. I am Lisa’s first cuz from childhood and we grew up together at the lake acting out plays{ directed by Lisa!]…and joys abounding that can only be talked about, written ,drawn, acted out, painted or mimed. That’s exactly what we did as the brilliant little tribe of children that we were. All of us are at different parts of the planet and still in touch with the love of eachother and our roots. I read your poem about waking up in 2011 and it brought laughs and tears ,a chuckle and a great grin!!!! Tho I have not a poem,I want to share with you a glimpse on my first morn of2011.

I woke up early as I do and my cats Zack and Abbie.were there on the empty spot for them to look outside. They see I’m awake… it is a new day in what year? We spent the New Year with party hats, honkers, and my friend and her two six year old grandsons, Roman and Gabriel. Smart, kool kids, We played CRANIUM …
AS I lay in bed this am the snow was falling so beautiful and the gratitude for my warm bed and my kitties and the beautiful flakes of snow… gratitude. This a ramble and no poem.

Marcus, Your work is profound and I know because I read and saw you and I wish you to continue flowing as you do. I ask of you to please send prayers my way as I have been under a buschell basket so to speak. As I think you maybe know the pain of that..?

My cousin Lisa I miss you GiRL A LOt!!!
