“The Auction” by Mitch Hicks

The Auction.....Husborne Crawley

Husborne Crawley

Sun floods thru the auction room
Eyes stalking lots held high
Lone clown sadly looks down upon us
Iconic plastic stacking chairs some silent
Our life of memories slips under the gavel
We are all just lot numbers awaiting our bid
Going once going twice going gone to get rid
