Henry Miller

“Why are we so full of restraint? Why do we not give in all directions? Is it fear of losing ourselves? Until we do lose ourselves there is no hope of finding ourselves.”

    Beautiful quote.

“Honest criticism means nothing: what one wants is unrestrained passion, fire for fire.” ~Henry Miller

Read him all through college and still read him today. Tradition has it that Quiet Days in Clichy will be read, as it always is, during the Mardi gras season in New Orleans. Just like when I was starving and penniless and working on the fringes.

Also get to visit the Miller library in Bug Sur next week traveling through L.A.
