“Thanksgiving Day Gratitude” by Roz Levine

I’ve got a whole lot of gratitude
Cause I don’t live in servitude
Got a comfy, warm house
With no sign of rat or mouse
Got a frig full of edibles
Really, that’s so incredible
Got a family who’s caring
Folks kind and sharing
Got a great group of friends
They’ll be there to the end
Got a life juiced with passion
And at seventy, that’s truly smashin’
Can’t really fuss of too many pains
Cause I just look at my beautiful gains
I wake each dawn with a heart of gratitude
May yours, too, overflow with such magnitude.
