Not the Same
Skin color, gender, age and sexual orientation. Everyone personifies all of these traits all of the time. We want to be recognized for who we are. Because we are different. Equal is not the same as Fair. Want is not the same as Need. Not the same. Not the same. Not the same. Not the same.

Love Him Enough
Had I known he was calling out for us as he succumbed to lung cancer, I would have done nothing different. My father died in pain and alone, unbeknownst to his offspring. Divorce and fear kept us apart in every way. I never had a chance to love him enough to miss him.

Rebecca, thank you for your powerful work, absolutely stunning!
Lisa – thank you for this! Your squeezes touch me!
It takes talent, audacity and genius to “bare bones it,” with so few words. Rebecca, you have an abundance of those attributes and you knock me out in execution.
I agree with Matthew…
Matthew even your comments are poetic!
Rebecca slays.
Matt – I love you!
Rebecca! You break my heart with these two poems. Thank you. I see your collages and these brilliant “nuggets” of poems in a book. YES!
Thank you Bambi – you are my Gold.
