“Canary Not Contrary”
was that a canary that flew by
no silly that was mad march
a yellow month of daffs then
more cash for the city wankers
oh i meant bankers
mothers day, st patricks day
how about coffee for the canary
they dont wharf down coffee only dogs wharf
oh thats where boats unload then.. is that near barking
can i unload there?

let it be with bluebells in my face”

“The Easter feeling does not end.
It signals a new beginning,
Of nature, spring, and brand new life,
And friendship, peace, and giving.
The spirit of Easter is all about
Hope, love, and joyful living.”

Thanks from The Juice Bar Mitch! 🙂
Sometimes I think I’m that pier stuck out all alone in the sea.
Not on dry land, yet attached to it.
I spy the waves thru the crack on the deck that I can never touch.
I feel the shoes that walk over me and at night
the light house talks in coded lights.
My mind flashes on and off to mimic the thoughts I send
out to an empty starry night.

“The best art gallery in the world is on your doorstep. Take a few steps outside and see what mother nature is showing today! Every street and field are gallery rooms full of gems that will lift the heart and please the eye. Not even the super rich can buy these treasures for they are the fruit of the world for all to enjoy!!!”
Snap and quote by Mitch Hicks
life is a menu a side dish
maybe from the art gallery cafe
you may like to hang many pictures on your walls
sorrow and love is just a palette of colour waiting to be mixed
feelings just liquids we stir stained cups left behind
memories hang and gaze back at us somtimes to remind

Last years shadow
Where do they go
Shadows and years
Do they age
Will my shadow live on
I hope so
Years are like bad dreams
They haunt you
More than you think
My shadow looked on as I was being exhumed
For the first time I saw my death face
Yes it was a dream
Seeing my demise looking grey but at peace
Years are like death they happen and don’t return
Make friends of your shadow
Dance with the year
Embrace both showing not an ounce of fear

“I’m in deep water
My lungs no longer cry out
Legs leaden stretching
Arms once so strong now fall asleep
Eyes mellow not in anger
Lips tormented with sorrow
Under currents swirling testicles
Toes curling around tangling weeds
Drowning in my own lament”
